Wasserman
Founder and President
Mr. Yeshaya Wasserman is founder and president of SGW Properties. He is responsible for identifying new opportunistic acquisitions in residential and commercial asset classes, overseeing acquisitions and development for the company’s portfolio, structuring and financing new transactions, and creating initiatives to continue to grow SGW Properties portfolio and presence in Brooklyn, Manhattan and throughout the New York metro region.
Mr. Shaya Wasserman oversees the property management of over 50+ real estate assets. Prior to founding SGW Properties in 2008, Mr. Shaya Wasserman worked as a management consultant for approximately 10 years. In this role, Mr. Shaya Wasserman served at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., CIBC World Markets, and Citadel Securities.
Jonathan Kuzniki
Controller
Jonathan Kuznicki, CPA, is Controller of SGW Properties. In this role, Mr. Kuznicki is responsible for maintaining and implementing best practices relating to accounting procedures, budget management, insurance policies, and tax and financial reporting.
Mr. Kuznicki works alongside Mr. Shaya Wasserman in the financial analysis of potential opportunities, structuring and financing new transactions, and maximizing the operating performance of the existing portfolio.
Prior to joining SGW Properties, Mr. Kuznicki served for three years at Hudson Bay Capital Management Mr. Kuznicki graduated Touro College with a dual major in Accounting and Mathematics/ Actuarial Studies, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Tzvi Hecht
Director of Field Operations
Tzvi Hecht, is Director of Field Operations of SGW Properties. In this role, he is responsible for coordinating an effective and efficient site control plan that ensures the highest quality of life for our tenants.
Mr. Hecht oversees the field managers who communicate directly with building superintendents and contractors to ensure they adhere to all applicable policies and procedures established by SGW Properties and by state, local, and federal statutes, with attention to Equal Employment Opportunity and Equal Housing Opportunity.
Mr. Hecht is also responsible for planning preventative maintenance, safety standards, training programs, and adherence to all insurance and lender requirements.
